The new millennium, regardless of the disagreements over when it actually occurs or the fact that it is associated with a Christian chronology, turned into a spectacular celebration of life and unity as the midnight hour swept across the world on January 1, 2000. This pathway, marked against the darkness of the night sky by a wave of spectacular fireworks, emphasised the eternal nature of life and promoted a kinship regardless of race or creed. It was truly an inspirational moment to be shared and an honour to be a participant, as we all hopefully stand at the start of a new age of peace, kinship and knowledge. We might still have problems to solve, but it seems like the first time that all of mankind was truly united. It is a start.
Despite the fact that the recapping of the Great Pyramid of Giza was cancelled at the 11th hour, the symbolism of the pole star as the seemingly eternal capstone of light provided all that was needed. It mattered not of the human dramas and politics played out upon the earthly stage beneath its light, which led to the cancellation of the ceremony. The pole star is earmarked by the northern shaft from the King’s Chamber as being significant so it is also appropriate that it is a marker to a great archaeological legacy which truly belongs to all mankind, although in the capable custodianship of the Egyptian people. Just as the vertex of the Great Pyramid of Khufu marks the cornerstone of a geographical map pointing the way to a lost archaeological treasure, so too does the pole
star as the capstone of light mark the way to a four dimensional map integrating stellar and geographical factors. All the pole stars with the progression of time are to be found in the right paw of the Great Celestial Sphinx which is embodied in the Giza sphinx,1 in keeping with the Cayce predictions that the entrance to the Hall of Records was to be found in the right paw of the sphinx.

As Orion being symbolic of Osiris and Pharaoh, reaches culmination on the meridian due south, Leo has cleared the sphinx in the east and one finds themselves in the middle of a four dimensional map.2 The point from which one can see the polar capstone aligns to a significant position on the geographical map which should be in alignment with the north face of Khafre’s pyramid, close to the centre of triangulation involving Khufu’s capstone and the southern face of Khafre’s pyramid. This triangulation is very similar to the cross sectional diagram of Khufu’s pyramid, marking the point adjacent to the King’s Chamber. The sphinx, on this geographical map, sits over the upward passage to the King’s and Queen’s chamber if it was superimposed on the map of the cross sectional diagram. Once again, the Cayce prediction that the entrance would be found through the sphinx’s right paw is appropriate.
The development of events in the last two years of the century have produced the discovery of the Tomb of Osiris and other mysterious tunnels in the area as predicted by a leading Australian Astrologer, Alison Moroney, a decade earlier in 1989.3 It is only a matter of time before the records are located, adding a new depth to the history of mankind. Alison Moroney’s discoveries relating the shafts of the Great Pyramid to the major astronomical planes in 1994, gained acceptance and support from within the academic community, as did her archaeo-astronomical dating of the Great Pyramid to a time 1800 years earlier than currently estimated by the modern Egyptological circle. A series of articles on her progressive discoveries in the previous decade culminated in the publication of her book, Pathway to Atlantis, in September 1998, including the identification of Jesus with Orion. This identification is not inappropriate as the Christian heritage was originally spawned from an Egyptian one, via a Hebrew parentage. Thus the symbolism of eternal life as embodied in the legend of Osiris and the expectations of the Second Coming was strongly reflected in the millennial celebrations.
